Travis Scott Denies Stealing Album Artwork

Travis Scott has been sued again. This time for allegedly using an artist’s artwork without permission for an unreleased music project.

Ed McPherson told TMZ that the cover art was originally uploaded to some streaming services by fans but was removed by DSPs when they realized it wasn’t official so the copyright lawsuit is unfounded.

The artist Mickaël Mehala says he designed the work in 2015 and shared it with Scott via Instagram in 2018. Scott did not reply but then he says it was used in conjunction with Scott’s unofficial compilation release, ‘Travis La Flame’.
