Target is a Black Friday hot spot for holiday shoppers but a change in their recent plans has some customers asking questions about their hours.
When it comes to holiday shopping, Target is one of the biggest destinations for customers, especially when it comes to Black Friday. And while some people have elected to take their holiday rush online, some still prefer to go to the store and get things done.
With that said, recent years prior to 2020 had seen many stores open on Thanksgiving Day and allow mad dashes to the hot items on the holiday. That, however, is now a thing of the past, at least for this store.
Prior to the holiday, Target announced that they would be closed on Thanksgiving Day in 2021 and every year moving forward. That’s absolutely huge news but it could also affect the plans of any Black Friday shoppers.
Specifically, it begs the question of when the store opens on the day after Thanksgiving.
Target Black Friday hours: When does Target open?
For the most part, Target will open a 7 a.m. local time for Black Friday shopping.
Of course, this is dependent on your local store as some locations may have different and adjusted hours for the shopping-mad “holiday” but most of the superstores throughout the United States will be unlocking their doors at 7 a.m. and then operate until normal closing time.
So if you want to catch the Target Black Friday deals this year, you don’t have to get up super early nor did you have to abandon your family on Thanksgiving. That sounds like a win for everyone involved if you ask me.
